Problem Solving

I approach technical challenges logically and stay focused on the practical solution rather than the most interesting one. Most problems are resolved by narrowing down carefully, not by guessing quickly.

Adaptability

Comfortable learning new tools and adjusting to changing project requirements. The technology I use is chosen to fit the project, which means regularly working outside what is already familiar.

Client Communication

Able to translate technical requirements into terms a client can make decisions with, explaining the trade-off and not just the recommendation.

Attention to Detail

Focused on usability, consistency, responsiveness and technical quality. The difference between a site that feels professional and one that does not is usually a hundred small things.

Ownership

Comfortable taking responsibility for a project from development through deployment and ongoing support, including the parts that are nobody's favourite.

Continuous Learning

Actively developing my technical and digital skills. Where my experience with a technology is still growing, I say so rather than overstate it.
